The vampires know it.
The necromancers suspect it.
The Hunters fear it.
There exists a blood that remembers the world that came before, that never fully adapted to the Veil’s Walk. When it is spilled near pre-Fall artifacts, they react erratically: heat, whispers, vibrations impossible to measure.
Some believe this blood was exposed directly to the Nexus.
Others claim it was marked by the failed ritual.
Whatever the truth, its bearer never ages like the others.
Nor do they fully belong to any faction.
