Game plan
π GAME PLAN β MYSTICS OF THE ETERNAL TIDE
π― Deck Objective
Gain advantage not through brute force, but through adaptation, faction diversity, and control of the opponentβs tempo.
This deck does not impose war β it manages it.
Early Game (Turns 1β3)
Deploy Acolytes, Watchers, and Wanderers to establish early board presence.
Filter your deck using Tide Watcher and Cartographer of Invisible Frontiers.
Do not force synergies yet β prepare the ground.
If the opponent applies pressure, use Truce Breeze to buy time.
Mindset: survive without compromising identity.
Mid Game (Turns 4β6)
Begin mixing factions through:
Umbral Wanderer
Mask of the Shapeshifter
Allied characters from other factions (if the format allows)
Activate situational advantages:
Card draw or healing via Sage of the Two Worlds
Conditional buffs with Shifting Affinity Sphere
Control trades and board tension using:
Silent Pact Seal
Arcane Tide Anchor
This is where the deck collects payment for its neutrality.
Late Game (Turn 7+)
Oracle of the Nocturnal Tide converts diversity into real power.
Protect leaders with Guardian of the Unbroken Oaths.
Use Profane Balance Ritual to dismantle unfair board states.
The opponent begins losing value even if they retain superior raw strength.
Final feeling: the opponent is fighting a system they cannot lock down.
Weaknesses and counters
β οΈ Weaknesses / Counters
Vulnerable to very fast mono-faction decks if early control tools are not drawn.
Requires board awareness β poor decisions are punished more heavily than with other decks.
Common mistake: attempting to play it as pure aggro or pure control.
π It is neither.
